Breaking Flag News!!!

My state, Washington will be making a committee for designing a new state flag. The new design will release in the late 2020s. Thus my first serious design! I will keep you updated on this situation for hopefully the next couple years :3

this is my first idea for a new flag!

This is my second attempt at redesigning the flag of Washington. I like this design a lot! The blue repersents the coast off the shore of Washington. the green repersents western Washington. Meanwhile, the white repersents the Eastern part of Washington, as well as the Cascade mountains! the star at the top left corner represents the statehood of Washington. One of the points of the star is also pointing towards the north west(is this flag was to be layed out on a map). Lastly the fact that the middle line is curved is a slight, (very slight) reference to the shape of the washington coast!
